Privacy Notice
Sole Sacraty (“we”) collects the least information needed to book and deliver your treatment. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. This notice explains what we hold and how to have it removed.
Who is responsible
Sole Sacraty is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Our Information Officer is Siyabonga Blessing Nkosi, reachable at [email protected] or +27 70 493 8532.
What we collect
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Name and mobile number | To confirm and manage your booking on WhatsApp. |
| Email address (if you email us) | To reply and to receive proof of payment. |
| Address of a mobile session | So we can arrive at the right place. |
| Relevant health notes you choose to share | So we can adapt or decline a treatment safely, for example pregnancy, diabetes, foot injuries or circulation problems. Sharing this is voluntary. |
| Proof of payment | To reconcile your deposit or payment. |
| Website analytics | Aggregated visit statistics via Google Analytics 4, used to improve the site. |
We do not take card details. Card payments are processed on Yoco’s own secure checkout, and SnapScan payments in your banking app — we never see your card number, CVV, PIN or one-time passwords.
Legal basis and consent
We process booking information because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for. Health notes are special personal information and are processed only with your express consent, for your safety during treatment. You may withdraw consent at any time, though we may then be unable to treat you.
Who else sees it
Only Siyabonga handles bookings. Limited information passes through the service providers we use to run the business: WhatsApp (Meta) for booking messages, Google (Gmail and Analytics 4), Yoco and SnapScan for payments, and our website host. Each processes data under its own terms. We never sell or rent your information, and we never share it with other clients.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies. Google Analytics 4 sets measurement cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. You can block them in your browser settings or with a tracking blocker, and the site will still work normally.
How long we keep it
Booking messages and treatment notes are kept while you remain a client and for up to three years after your last session, so that repeat visits are safe and consistent. Payment records are kept for five years as required by South African tax law. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Have inaccurate information corrected.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
- Object to processing, or withdraw consent for health notes.
- Complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za if you are unhappy with how we responded.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Booking messages stay in end-to-end encrypted WhatsApp chats on a passcode-protected phone, and email is protected by a strong password and two-factor authentication. No system is perfect — if a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
Children
We treat clients under 18 only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who must be present for the session.
Changes
