Hot Stone Foot Therapy
Heated basalt stones glide along the arch and sole to release what fingertips alone cannot reach, followed by full reflexology. R450 for roughly 65 minutes, studio or mobile across Gauteng.
Heat first, then depth
The heat does the opening work so the reflexology can go further — the reason this is the treatment of choice after long weeks on your feet.
Warm soak & cleanse
A herb-infused foot bath prepares the skin and begins the softening before any stone touches you.
Heated basalt stones
Smooth stones warmed in water are worked along the arch, sole and heel to release tight fascia and boost circulation.
Full reflexology
Once the foot is warm and pliable, the mapped pressure-point work follows — noticeably deeper than on cold feet.
65 minutes total
Roughly 15 minutes longer than standard reflexology. Ideal for winter, long shifts on your feet, or heavy travel weeks.
What to expect
- Tell us about any circulation issues, neuropathy, pregnancy or recent foot injuries when you book — heat is not right for everyone and we would rather adapt the session.
- Stones are heated in water and temperature-tested against our own skin before use.
- Heat, then pressure: soak, stone work, reflexology, finishing oils.
- Expect the effect to last — most clients report warm, light feet into the next day.
Good to know
How hot are the stones?
Warm, not hot — they are heated in water and always tested before they touch your skin. Tell us if anything feels uncomfortable and we swap to a cooler stone.
What is the difference from standard reflexology?
Heat relaxes the muscles and fascia of the foot first, so the pressure-point work reaches deeper with less resistance. It also lasts about 15 minutes longer.
Who should avoid it?
Heat is not suitable with reduced sensation in the feet (including some diabetes-related neuropathy), varicose veins, open wounds, recent injuries or during pregnancy without your doctor’s go-ahead. Tell us when you book and we will recommend standard reflexology instead.
Can I add it to another session?
Yes — hot stones can be added to the couples foot ritual for +R150 per guest.
